Divine Light
By Brook Forrest White, Jr.

"Divine Light", a nine-foot tall glass sculpture was installed in the entryway of the new Christian Life Center built by First United Methodist Church in Frankfort.  The church chose Flame Run co-owner Brook White out of a group of five Kentucky artists to make the chandelier- like sculpture.

The sculpture is comprised of three glass bowls that hang down from a metal frame and represent the trinity.  The bowls appear to be holding red, yellow and orange dancing flames which represent the fire of the Holy Spirit and which are actually more than 50 pieces of blown glass. The top bowl, the largest, is about three feet in diameter. Lights come from the flames as well as the bowls.
